As you all know, I’ve been involved in real estate and property development for some time. While my professional credentials really don’t have anything to do with real estate, I moved out of my career in insurance sales to involve myself in the world of buying and selling properties—flipping, as it is called—and I’ve worked with many businesses specializing in a wide variety of different property-related services. I recently was ready to flip one of my many properties, a home I’d lived in for a short time. It was the house where Tree first lived with me when she was a puppy, so of course I’m sentimentally attached to it.
That being said, the home needed some serious work to make it marketable. I recently contacted a slate roofing specialist that specializes in installing some beautiful slate roofs on homes in the area. They received plenty of positive reviews from other people in the area, so as always, I figured I’d give them a shot. From what I could see on their website, they had a great selection of different slate roofing options, and I was impressed with the gallery that they had up online. It looked like top-quality slate, not that I’m an expert on that or anything.
From what I understand, slate is one of the best materials you can use when building a roof. It’s really invincible against anything nature throws at it, which means that you can pretty much do anything with it. You can take a hands-off approach to your roof, and if you know me well, you know I love to be hands-off. You don’t really need to clean, bleach, or polish it all that much. It doesn’t fade in the sun, and it always retains the beautiful natural appearance it comes with, especially now that modern versions of the roof tiling are treated with weatherproofed materials.
I selected one of the brighter options to go with the design of the exterior of the home. It was installed quickly and without a fuss, and I didn’t have to do much other than sit back and watch it being installed. The craftsmanship is amazing, and I was blown away by how beautiful it looked when everything was said and done. I’m happy for how the service turned out so well and how fast the turnaround time was. No doubt, it was the most beautiful roof I’d ever seen on any of my properties.
I’ll definitely be seeking out their services for my other properties in the area, as the property values go sky high whenever you make an investment in this type of roofing material, which is prized for how resilient it is.
